We aim to ship our code the moment it's ready, to do that we spend a lot of time thinking about, refining and improving our CD pipelines.

 

We're using other technologies like AWS cloud services , Jenkins for (CI/CD) and Mongodb. Our UI's are all built as single page apps in AngularJS, and our native apps are continually reviewed as the best in the industry.

  • ​Agile Scrum Master for Four Squad Teams here at smart pension.

  • Managing 3 Backend teams and 1 DevOps team, including one the remote team.

  • Facilitating daily scrum, weekly story refinement sessions and retrospective meetings.

Responsibilities: 

  • Managing the development side of the of the software engineering here at Smart Pension using the latest stack technologies.

  • Managing 3 engineering teams, 2 backend and 1 frontend. Each team consist of 8 to 12 developers.

  • Responsible for the day to day management of the digital delivery team

  • Setup Agile Kanban board within GitLab to manage the product.

  • Although project began with kanban but we end up working in scrum with 2 weeks sprints due to complexity and short software delivery timeframe. 

  • Introduce Sprint planning, Daily scrum, Scrum Review & Scrum Retrospective

  • Introduce fibonacci sequence for the sprint poker party / planning

  • Couple of months later migrated to GitHub due to CI/CD build issue with GitLAB

  • Working very closely with PM, PO, BA, UX, UI & BAU teams to delivery high quality products and to ensure successful transition of the products to BAU.

My Daily Responsibilities are:

 

  • Product owner of Zendesk &Teamwork.

  • Successfully deploy Zendesk to FOODit to improve voice calling and customer support through an email support system.

  • Restructure customer care, dividing in to 2 teams, increasing their operating efficiency.

  • Create a customer care progression roadmap to assist in the creation of KPI & SLA’s.

  • Work with UX designers to improve UI for CentralDish / Mobile app

  • Map the MVP scope for FOODit’s new app requirements for back office and app functionality.

  • Collaborate with senior developers and designers to develop and market high-quality solutions.

  • Conduct App & website testings on UAT & Dev platform.

  • Communicate with Product Owners, challenge thinking, validate ideas and prioritise their initiatives into a workable Product roadmap and backlog
